Booking
Do I need an appointment?
Yes, Cello runs on appointments. Book online, or call (02) 9712 8399 and the salon will find you a time. Walk-ins are taken when there is a gap, but a call first saves you a wasted trip.
How do I book?
Claudia, Katie and Costa can be booked online, with the Book online button at the top of every page. For anyone else on the team, call the salon on (02) 9712 8399 or book in person at the front desk. If you can’t find the time you want online, call the salon and the team will help.
Can I come outside working hours?
Thursday runs late, to 9:00pm, and Saturday opens early, at 8:30am. Those two fill first, so book them further ahead than a weekday.
When are you open?
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9:00am to 5:30pm, Thursday 9:00am to 9:00pm, and Saturday 8:30am to 4:00pm. Closed Sunday and Monday.
Where are you?
375 Great North Road, Five Dock NSW 2046, on the border of Five Dock and Wareemba.
Prices
Are these prices final?
They are starting prices published by the salon, and longer or thicker hair sits at the upper end of each range. Colour corrections and bridal work are quoted after a consultation. Confirm the price when you book.
Why do some services have two prices?
Michelle, our salon manager, has a master stylist rate. It is listed beside the stylist rate on three ladies’ cutting services. Everything else is one price, whichever stylist you see.
What if a service is not on the price list?
Perms, men’s colour, children’s cuts, T-section tints and GHD curls on their own are all still done at Cello. Call and you will be given a price on the spot.
Services
Do you cut men’s and children’s hair?
Yes. A men’s shampoo and cut is $65 and a buzz cut is $45. Children’s cuts are done on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 3:00pm, and on Thursdays before 4:00pm; call for the price.
Do you do bridal and occasion hair?
Yes. Occasion upstyles and vintage waves are $150 to $180. Bridal hair is quoted after a consultation, so call to arrange one.
Can I have a colour quoted first?
Yes. Colour corrections are always quoted after a consultation. Call the salon, or send an enquiry from the contact page and tell us what you have in mind.
